Recognise the important link between the structure of the body and the way it works.
Do your practice and reach harmony!
At Your-Body Osteopathy we recognises the important link between the structure of your body and the way it functions, and we're here to maintain its balance.
We focus on how your skeleton, joints, muscles, nerves, circulatory system, connective tissue and internal organs function as a unit and how a problem with one may affect the others.
Whats osteopathy and why have it?
Osteopathy is a healthcare practice which recognises the important link between the structure of the body and the way it functions.
Who do we treat
I have a wide vaiety of patients including young and old people, manual workers, office workers, pregnant women, children and sports people.
Peace of mind
By law, all osteopaths have to be registered with the GOC in order to practice osteopathy in the United Kingdom.
One Hour session £38
During your first consultation I’ll ask questions about your problem and symptoms. I’ll also ask questions about your medical history, any medications you are taking or other factors that may not appear to be directly related to your problem. If your medical condition changes during the course of your osteopathic treatment, you should tell me.
Follow up sessions:
Normally 30 to 45 minutes £35
Generally you would expect to see some changes in your symptoms after one or two visits; however, some long-term or chronic conditions may require a longer course or more frequent treatment.
Depending on the area of your body requiring treatment, I may ask you to undress to your underwear. It’s important that you feel comfortable, so you may want to wear loose pants or bring a pair of shorts to change into.

So What Do Osteopaths Do?
Put simply, osteopaths give a complete treatment to your whole body, not just parts of it. Osteopaths have an expert knowledge of the workings of all your joints, muscles and body systems.
At Your-body osteopathy we will examine you to find the cause of your pain, then treat the cause, not the symptoms, to help your body return to its natural, healthy state. Isn’t that what the practice of medicine is really about?
It’s worth emphasising that at Your-body osteopathy we treat your WHOLE body – not just parts of it. Your body is an interconnected network of joints, muscles and body systems. If you experience hurt or discomfort in one part of your body – this pain will also affect the rest of your body. Osteopaths know this fact intimately. To ensure your pain and discomfort is found and treated at its source, you can rely on a comprehensive osteopathic treatment.
I'll treat more than you think and focus on how your skeleton, joints, muscles, nerves, circulatory system, connective tissue and internal organs function as a holistic unit. Many structural problems in the body may affect proper mobility or function and can lead to other problems.
